Well my poor buddy developed mouth ulcers most likely from the chemo. They’re all under and on the sides of his tongue. One is on his lip. This makes sense now why his appetite has decreased so much. He is drinking and that’s probably the only thing keeping him out of the hospital. His temp is still in the 99’s and all he really wants to do is play on his iPad. He has “magic mouthwash” that was prescribed and hoping he tolerates it and it helps. He has been doing so great with his treatments and this seems to be the first hiccup he has had. He is very discouraged because of it and I keep reminding him how strong he is and has been so far. I know they hurt but I also know what a strong little man he is. I just hope he doesn’t develop anymore in his mouth or throat.
