So not the news we wanted to hear today. Noah’s ANC number dropped all the way down to 110. He is on a hold with his treatment until next Monday.
Due to the low ANC numbers he is at a very high risk for infection. He was not able to get his LP (lumbar puncture) done today or receive any chemo.
This is so discouraging when this happens. Noah told me in the car that he just wants to get his treatment over with. I can’t imagine what goes through his little brain. He is so very smart and understands everything the doctors tell him.
So this week…we will make sure he does what he is supposed to and pray that his body does what it can to get those numbers up!
