Well Noah is on a chemo hold/delay until Monday morning. His ANC was 180 (Absolute Neutrophil Count). This is referred to as the “infection-fighting” count. So it’s super important throughout treatment.
His ANC has to be at least 500 for the Methotrexate (chemo). Hoping his ANC goes up by Monday. Regardless, he will be getting VinCHRIStine (chemo) but hoping his numbers are up to receive the Methotrexate along with it so we can move on with treatment. This delay has me upset even though it’s normal throughout treatment. I just don’t want any hiccups holding him back. Just frustrating. My poor boy. He is such a warrior and is amazing.
